Subject to the conditions listed below for a period of ten years from the date of completion of the installation Star Windows 2000 Ltd undertakes to replace or repair as its sole discretion but free of all charges any fault which develops due to defective materials and workmanship.  White upvc frames are guaranteed for ten-years, wood-grain/ foil colours for a period of five-years. Sealed units for a period of five years (see note). The window, door furniture, fixing and sealants which forms part of a PVCu window, door or conservatory installed by Star Windows 2000 Ltd and contained within the contract has a twelve months manufacturers guarantee only.

NOTE: All window glass & doors glass units will have 5 year guarantee only against condensation and fog build up in sealed units. Guarantee DOSEN'T cover for cracked, shattered or broken glass of panes after installation. UPVC door panels will be covered under a 12 month manufacturers guarantee.

Conditions

Star Windows 2000 Ltd shall only be bound by the terms of the above ten-year guarantee providing that:

A.The customer gives Star Windows 2000 Ltd full details of any alleged defect in writing and within a period of one month from the defect first becoming apparent to the customer.

B.The customer gives Star Windows 2000 Ltd a reasonable opportunity of inspecting, testing or otherwise ascertaining the nature and extent of the alleged defect.

C.The customer allows Star Windows 2000 Ltd to rectify any defect or defects and to use its discretion in the choice of material, the time and method of rectification.

D.If the installation has been adapted, altered or in any way worked or tampered with by persons not authorised by Star Windows 2000 Ltd this may affect the guarantee.

E.This warranty excludes damage or faults due to accident, misuse or neglect, fair wear and tear and acceptable phenomena.

This guarantee and undertaking is given conditional upon the account for the installation having been paid in full under the terms of the contract or otherwise secured to the satisfaction of Star Windows 2000 Ltd as acknowledge in writing and was lodged with Star Windows 2000 Ltd on completion.  The guarantee is non transferable,

Returns (Supply Only)

• Goods purchased that have been used can be refunded with a 20% returns charge applied. This applys to Supply jobs only.
• If an exchange or refund is required then the items should be returned to us in their original condition and packaging within 7 days of your purchase.

  Again a 20% returns charge applied. This applys to Supply jobs ONLY.



• The purchaser is requested to return the original invoice.

• Star Windows reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange if the goods returned are deemed to be damaged or tampered with. This does not affect your statutory rights.

• Please note for Supply only jobs we charge £30.00-£50.00 +VAT call out charge if you require a surveyor to come out to you. If you choose to have the work supplied by star windows then we will deduct that fee from your balance.

Deliveries

• All purchases are dispatched direct by Star Windows delivery van and a signature is required on delivery at the address given by the purchaser when placing an order.

• All goods remain the property of Star Windows until delivery and full payment of products. Payment is required before in full or at the point of deliver in full.
